My friend Mo and I started a study of the prophets via WhatsApp a few days ago. Recently, Muslims around the world celebrated the birth of their prophet Muhammad, and it was this holiday that initiated our study.

We agreed to look at prophets from the Old Testament and the Qur’an, and at Jesus, and exchanged verses from each of our holy books that describe the character, prophecy, and actions of different prophets. My focus was on the miracles of Jesus, primarily the virgin birth, His sinless life, and ascension to heaven.

During our conversation, Mo messaged me, “Jesus is different.” He began to see that Jesus is incomparable, that there is none like Him.

Believe with me that Mo will continue to see Jesus differently, that this new revelation will bring fresh understanding, and that this will be another step away from Islam toward Jesus.
