Live Dead Silk Road encompasses nine countries in Central Eurasia: Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Nearly 450 million people live in this area – roughly the size of the contiguous United States –with almost no access to the gospel. These countries form one of the least reached regions in the world.

448 million people have never heard the gospel.

The Silk Road region is a predominantly Muslim area with 97 percent of its inhabitants being members of unreached people groups. Poverty, hardship, and persecution are everywhere. Muslim-led governments continue to repress any efforts of Christ’s name being proclaimed. But the name of Jesus must be proclaimed.

Who We Are

Live Dead is not just focused on planting the church in the Silk Road. We are a strategic initiative consisting of teams from different countries around the world, working together to see churches planted among unreached people groups. When you join a Live Dead team, you are not just joining a solitary group; you are joining a worldwide team that works in strategic partnership to learn, grow, and accomplish the mission God has laid on our hearts, together. 

What We Do

We plant churches among unreached people groups through teams. Church planting is accomplished by local ministry teams living among unreached peoples, communicating the message of faith, and making disciples. 

Live out your giftings among these unreached.

God wants to use athletes, musicians, artists, lawyers, doctors, plumbers, shepherds, farmers, police, engineers, and even carpenters to make His glory known. The beauty of who God is, adorned by the devoted gifts of His people, is to be carried to all the world and every people group through every vocation. The Lord of the harvest commanded us to make disciples of all the nations. There are still 1,119 unreached people groups along the Silk Road, and we still need thousands of missionaries of every gift, every talent, every age, and every race, men and women full of God’s creative wisdom in their craft, making God beautiful as they carry His presence to the unreached peoples of the world.

Our Goal

Our goal is not long-term residency, flawless language proficiency, the cessation of human suffering, or even to win some converts. Our goal is to plant churches that cannot be uprooted and when persecuted only multiply. We plant churches and make disciples through teams as we live in community amid larger communities of people who have not heard the good news of Jesus Christ.

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.

We have been working in the Silk Road for nearly a decade and continue to see growth all around.

Church Planting (CP) teams exist to plan and disciple the indigenous church among unreached people groups.

Launch Teams

We train you! Launch Teams exist to prepare new workers for the harvest fields along the Silk Road. We help new missionaries learn the necessary skills and give them tools within the Muslim context.
