Iran: God Doesn’t Play Favorites

My friend and I saw some ladies sitting on a bench, and on the other side were their children. We thought we would go and share the gospel to the ladies, but as we approached, it was obvious they were involved in a very intense conversation. So we started talking to the children.
The children ranged in age from 9 to 12, and their hearts were so pure. As we shared the gospel of Jesus with them, they recited back to us things we knew their parents taught them about Islam. Still, the tenderness of their spirits became obvious to us. In that moment, I heard Jesus speak to my heart: “I was sent for these, too, not just their parents.” He gave me steps to share with these kids on their level. When I asked them if they believed this message, the quiet one of the group, a 10-year-old, looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, “Yes, I do.”
It was at that moment, the parents interrupted and led the children away, but I have the comfort of the Holy Spirit that He will nurture the seed that was sown.
Jesus, we ask that this seed be watered and nurtured, that the message of Your gospel would take root and grow, and that this young girl would grow in the knowledge of You.
