Take a prayer walk with us through nine cities of Iran. We will highlight for you the physical dynamic of water and its correlated spiritual meaning. We look to the Source of living water to fill the thirsty hearts of Iranians this Nowruz season!

Cheshmeh

The land of Iran is alive with tectonic activity, causing hot springs in the mountains near the community of Tabriz. The word for “spring” is “cheshmeh.” Perhaps the land inside Iran is groaning for its redemption back to paradise.

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, … who turns the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water. (Psalm 114:7,8)

As we marvel at His miracles of transformation, let us pray for the people of Tabriz.

“Jesus, these hot springs draw people in to experience God’s creation, which trembles ‘at the presence of the Lord…’ We long to see the surrounding area of Tabriz to be redeemed by the Lord and tremble at His feet. Bless Your purchased bride in Tabriz to be an access point of living water to the thirsty. “
