Nowruz Mubarak!
#livedead #pray #Nowruz
Over the past several days, your prayers have been a huge encouragement to the Live|Dead Iran team. We prepared for a week of great opportunity, and now it is finally here! Nowruz Mubarak, indeed! Keep praying for our team as we make every effort to share the Gospel with Iranians.
We conclude this prayer series with Luke 13:
“Then Jesus said, ‘What is the Kingdom of God like? How can I illustrate it? It is like a tiny mustard seed that a man planted in a garden; it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches.’
He also asked, ‘What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.’” Luke 13:18-21
The effects of your prayers are limitless and eternal in the hands of our Creator God. To our human eyes, prayer can seem like such a small, simple contribution. We must remind ourselves that our Father perceives a whole tree bursting forth when He looks at a tiny mustard seed. He knows how a pinch of yeast changes the entire dough.
God listens to our modest contribution; in fact, He hears so much more than we can possibly imagine encapsulated in our prayers. He hears Persians surrendering their lives to Jesus. He hears worship arising from the nations in the throne room of heaven, and His ears tune to the Iranians’ songs of praise. In the Kingdom of God, our prayer has eternal potential. Let’s thank God for the impact that our prayers will have:
