Road Trip Through Iran – Rasht

Cruizing along the highway, windows down, music up… August is the perfect month for a road trip!  Alright I admit, we might not be able to physically road trip through Iran, but we can certainly ‘pray through’ Iran.

While our team on the ground dedicates these next 10 days to proclamation, teaching, and intercession, let’s join them in a 10-day prayer road trip through Iran.  #livedeadiran

Prayer for Rasht

Rasht is a beautiful spot in Iran, known for its beaches, nearby mountains, and increasingly modernized infrastructure.  It is an attractive place for both Iranian and international tourists to visit.  In this place where tourists and locals mix, let’s pray that those who know Christ would boldly share His Gospel with those who would not otherwise hear:

Dear Lord, we pray for the city of Rasht.  We pray that the Christians vacationing in Rasht this year would not simply enjoy a respite, but would open their eyes and see the spiritual opportunities around them.  May they befriend locals and share the Gospel, both in word and deed.  We also pray for local believers.  Give them unprecedented courage to share Your love with Iranian and foreign visitors.  Lord Jesus, transform Rasht into a city known for its evangelistic fervor, its zeal for Christ.  In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
